⊙ Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all IPDC publications.
⊙ Coordinate media interest in IPDC and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
⊙ Act as IPDC’s representative with the media.
⊙ Coordinate the appearance of all IPDC print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc.
⊙ Develop, coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resource materials to assist chapters in the marketing, communications and positioning of their activities.
⊙ Lead projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing and special events.
⊙ Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to the Management and Board.
⊙ Developing short- and long term marketing plan and vision, including research, advertising, promotional and PR, digital opportunities, in conjunction with company objectives.
⊙ Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/ communications/ public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
⊙ Managing promotional budget and ensuring that marketing plan and initiatives are in line with approved budget.
⊙ Design, support and oversee cross-functional teams throughout the organization.
⊙ Make sure that the businesses marketing communications promote the right message to maintain a good brand image.
⊙ Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, board members, media and vendors
